Aussie Saints Row 4 customers to get free DLC

Saints Row 4 has faced delays and censorship in Australia, and its distributor AIE is now offering up some free DLC as a 'we're sorry' present.

Does GTA V need to worry about Aussie ban?

Here are some new screen shots for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V.  It looks wonderful, but do Australians need to be concerned?  Despite the R18+ rating we now have, games such as Saints Row IV are struggling to get classified. Surely the franchise that pretty much kicked off the rating debate might be on shaky Australian soil.

Saints Row 4 still banned

Controversial upcoming video game Saints Row 4 has remained banned in Australia after a review found the game's 'drug use' was not permissible.

PAXAus: Banned game Saints Row IV playable

Still no word from the Australian Classification Board, however the lines are long to play Saints Row IV at PAXAus today.

Saints Row IV will be released in Australia

The recent addition of a R18+ rating for video games in Australia was widely celebrated by proponents of the rights of adults to consume all forms of entertainment aimed at them.  And then two games were refused classification, State of Decay and Saints Row IV.  Well State of Decay has been slightly altered and will be released, and all indications are that Saints Row IV will now make its way to Australian retail shelves.
