A war between companies for the favours of top IT managers and tech-savvy staff is looming, according to industry consultants PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Best International launches IT talent index

ICT recruiter Best International has launched a new Australian IT employment index. The Best IT Talent Index will be released on the fifth day of each month and provide information about the level and nature of demand for ICT labour in Australia, based on analysis of the previous month’s data.

CSC names new vp account management

Computer Sciences Corporation has appointed Matthew Day vice president of Account Management for CSC’s Australian operations. Day joined the company in 1994 and held various senior financial roles in Europe before moving to Australia. For the past five years, he has served as vice president of Finance and Administration for CSC’s Australian operations. Previously, he worked for Bowthorpe PLC and British Aerospace PLC. Day is a Chartered Management Accountant and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton.
