Nokia has announced that it has achieved a "5G speed record" during a trial with Turk Telekom in the Turkish capital city, Ankara.
The first 5G standalone or "SA" RAN Sharing Network has been deployed by Nokia for the M1-StarHub joint venture in Singapore to enable nationwide 5G coverage while ushering in an era of "game-changing 5G SA services"
Finnish telecommunications equipment provider Nokia has struck deals with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft and Google to pair its radio access network technologies for 5G with the cloud services of the three companies.
