About 75% of all new cars that are sold in the next five years are expected to be connected, the technology analyst firm Counterpoint Research says, adding that roughly 270 million vehicles will be shipped between 2020 and 2025.
For the second year running, Nokia smartphones, made by HMD Global, have topped the trust rankings of technology analyst firm Counterpoint Research. Software, security, build quality and enterprise-recommended devices were considered for the rankings. OnePlus was ranked second.
Despite being one of the pioneers in the mobile industry, Finnish telecommunications equipment provider Nokia has been struggling in recent years, with its mobile division being much bigger than its other divisions and the company yet to benefit from the 2016 acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent, the technology analyst firm Counterpoint Research claims.
