The Australian Taxation Office has signed five managed network services contracts with Optus Business, a division of Singtel Optus, Australia's second biggest telco, with each to run for three years initially, with the option of being extended thrice for two years at a time. The total value of the contracts is $233.32 million.

Optus Business has announced a new intelligent generation platform - Liquid Infrastructure - that it says helps enterprises configure their networks in as little as five minutes, and scale network capacity “up and down in a few clicks”.

Australia’s second largest telco Optus has suffered an operating revenue decline of 2% to A$8,954 million for the full year to the end of March, despite higher NBN migration revenue offsetting lower equipment and service revenues.

GO, GO with Optus new solution in digital era

Optus has launched a suite of “simplified” ICT solutions dubbed GO which it claims provide powerful connectivity, collaboration and cloud solutions without the complexity and cost of traditional ICT services.

Australia's second largest telecommunications company, Optus, has expanded the customer experience management solutions offered by its Optus Business division, launching a cloud-hosted package to improve clients' customer relationships.

Optus Business will provide telecommunications and managed services to Hastings Deering, the main Caterpillar dealer in Queensland and the Northern Territory, under a three-year whole-of-business ICT deal agreed on Monday.
