Nuclear fusion capability closer to reality

The world is hoping to be able to produce a clean, efficient, and abundant source of energy in the future. Nuclear fusion seems to be that promised-for energy source, which, so far, we have been unable to harness. However, recently, the U.S. Livermore National Lab inched a step closer with its National Ignition Facility.
