Australian satellite service provider, NewSat (ASX: NWT), has entered into a contract with Lockheed Martin to build its Jabiru-1 Ka Band geostationary satellite, to be launched in H2 of 2014.
NewSat (ASX: NWT) has yet to secure all the finance needed for planned Jabiru-1 satellite - first floated in 2007 and now expected to launch in 2014 - but is already telling shareholders of plans for a further four geostationary satellites.
