Industrial Internet of Things developer NetComm Wireless has joined the Ericsson IoT accelerator to help in the adoption of Massive IoT, a solution devised by Ericsson to address the emerging low power wide area market.
NBN Co, the company building the national broadband network, is ramping up its planned fibre-to-the-curb footprint, with 440,000 more homes and businesses to receive the new technology.
Australian networking solutions provider NetComm Wireless will supply hardware for the rollout of fibre-to-the-distribution-point connections — what the NBN Co calls fibre-to-the-curb — to about a million premises, the company's chief executive Ken Sheridan says.
