The affordability for consumers of accessing basic broadband plans on offer from NBN Co is to come under scrutiny by Australia’s corporate watchdog the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
Australia’s National Broadband Network has recorded net profits of $608 million for the full year 2019 – up from a loss of $103 million last year and after excluding subscriber payments of around $2 billion to Telstra and Optus.
More than 10 million homes and businesses are now able to connect to the NBN network with less than 12 months of the build remaining.
Can vouch for being a happy Aussie Broadband customer since giving up Telstra and it's very poor customer service.
