CommScope announced the launch of its Coexistence portfolio, designed for global service providers upgrading their existing PON networks to increase data speeds and deliver additional services without having to replace or add fibre to their existing PON infrastructure.
Fibre extension, 10Gbps broadband, NG-PON2, cloud services, the connected home and 5G will be the focus of the Broadband Forum’s latest BASE event at the Encore Hotel in Las Vegas on 28 October.
Operators, vendors and analysts are set to discuss the latest developments in Gfast and NG-PON2 technologies at the end of this month.
