Any time the NBN Co is taking a hammering over the abysmal speeds on the network which it is building at a cost of $57 billion — and still counting — there is a bid to make things look better.
Hobart-based Internet service provider TasmaNet has acquired Queensland telco Internomic which trades under the brand names Vastnet in regional Queensland and Netmode in metro Brisbane and surrounds.
The NBN Co has been recently claiming that it has fast connections, super-fast connections and anything else that should satisfy the needs of even the most discriminating consumer, but that appears to be as much BS as any of its other claims.
