Free music from Qtrax: just a misleading trick?

When Qtrax announced at Cannes 2008 that it had secured the backing of the world’s major music labels, allowing users to ‘legally’ download virtually any song from a catalogue of 25 million sourced from p2p networks, there was a big problem: it doesn’t appear to be true, and the software still can’t be downloaded.

Music industry wants ISPs to be its enforcers

The music industry is barking up the wrong tree when it suggests there is acceptance of the idea of making ISPs responsible for filtering copyright-infringing traffic.
