The National Broadband Network has marked a new milestone with the first FTTN area in Western Australia set to go live from Friday this week in the Perth suburbs of Cannington, Wilson, Langford and Beckenham.
A new line of 'innovative' cables, using FlexTube technology, are claimed to potentially halve the cost of joining cables as the National Broadband Network (nbn) rollout continues across Australia.
The Minister for Communications, Mitch Fifield, has attacked the Labor Party, saying it still does not have an nbn policy and claiming that Labor appears to be preparing to “backlflip” from its long-held position on the broadband network.
