La Trobe University researchers are embarking on ways to improve community health and wellbeing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, using targeted grants from La Trobe, Medibank and Optus.
Consumer advocate CHOICE is warning Australians they only have three weeks to avoid, what it claims is a “rip off” by their private health insurance, with consumers responding to a new survey identifying private health insurance as their most pressing cost concern (80%), beating fuel (78%) and electricity (74%).
Medibank is claiming an Australian-first, with the release this week of a digitised membership card for customers using Android phones, enabling them to claim on-the-spot refunds through HICAPS terminals.
