Kantar says Samsung’s Galaxy S6 sales in the US bode well for Android’s June quarter, with sales for Android, iOS and Windows Phone mostly doing well.
Meanwhile, Facebook is the top smartphone app, beating YouTube and Google, Snapchat snaps up a top 15 app ranking and smartphones have a 76.6% US market penetration.
Apple’s massive sales and profit success has translated into gains for the iOS operating system in virtually all major markets, mainly at the expense of Android but also Windows Phone.
