Every year, new phones, new CPUs, new everything arrives in the hope you’ll upgrade at some point, with WiFi getting a nice new upgrade to support ever faster speeds, with Netgear, Linksys, TP-Link, ASUS and others set to release 6E routers this year which uses the 6Ghz band that is "free of interference and congestion" - in 2021, at least!

CCleaner malware may be from Chinese group: Avast

Security company Avast says it has found similarities between the code injected into CCleaner and the APT17/Aurora malware created by a Chinese advanced persistent threat group in 2014/2015.

Linksys has used the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to launch its new Velop modular mesh-enabled home Wi-Fi system that “chains” nodes together for maximum coverage and speed.

When you have the fastest router on the planet, it nicely shows up the inadequacy of your Internet connection. The kicker is that your Internet speed can range from few Mbps to a few hundred Mbps depending on your ISP, but it is nice to know that this router can handle them all with lots more headroom.
