Telco Singtel Optus has teamed up with retailer Harvey Norman to set up Optus Business Hubs for small businesses which would function as a one-stop shop for SMBs to obtain select telecommunications products.
Telco Singtel Optus has launched a new mobile plan that it says will offer small and medium-sized businesses a means of cutting down on their communications costs.
Many Australian businesses are struggling to keep pace with technology changes critical to their business success, despite over 40% of SMBs believing that adopting smart technology to improve business efficiency will have the biggest impact on their business in the next three years, according to newly released research from Optus.
Optus says it has strengthened its executive leadership team with the appointment of three senior executives to the team, including Kate Aitken who will join the telco in August to take up the role of Vice President, Human Resources.
PayPal went offshore to find a new executive for its business in Australia, with former EasyJet UK senior manager Anthony Drury appointed to the newly created role of head of business to business.
PayPal Australia has appointed Libby Roy as its vice president and managing director.
