REVIEW PROMOTION In recent years, digital designers latched onto gaming laptops because they offered the best combination of power and portability.

CONTRIBUTED REVIEW The gaming notebooks of yesteryear were thick, noisy, heavy, expensive breadbaskets that were only technically regarded as portable. The good news is that the modern equivalent is a whole different beast. It’s a 15.6-inch notebook but squeezed into a body you’d associate with a 14-inch unit; measuring just 357 x 248 x 28mm and weighing only 2.3KG.
