The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has allocated $1.6 million in funding to energy infrastructure company Jemena to undertake a residential electric vehicle (EV) managed charging trial with four other electricity networks in the ACT, Victoria and Tasmania.
Energy infrastructure company Jemena has commenced construction of the Atlas Gas Pipeline, claiming that as Australia transitions to a low-carbon future gas will play an increasingly important role in complementing what it describes as “intermittent renewable technologies” such as wind and solar generation.
The Australian Government is providing $7.5 million to energy infrastructure company Jemena to support an Australian-first trial of a renewable hydrogen-powered electricity generation facility in Western Sydney.
