On 7 April, Qantas switched on its fast, free onboard Wi-Fi for passengers on board Boeing 737-800 VH-XZB. iTWire was there to try it out.
Despite promising the rollout of in-flight Wi-Fi from "early 2017", which it actually will still do with one plane, it won’t be until 2018 that Qantas' entire domestic fleet will be Wi-Fi equipped.
