ICT and cybersecurity training provider DDLS has formed a strategic partnership with Australia’s largest private provider of online vocational education, Open Colleges.
Regional Victorian industry group ICT Geelong has been relaunched, as the group estimates the region will need to fill more than 750 IT positions over the next five years, an increase of about 10% annually over current staff numbers.
The Australian Computer Society says the budget falls short in providing sufficient funds to address the ICT skills gap and wants the federal government to allocate more funding to overcome the problem.
