Global shipments of tablets fell for the fourth quarter running, with the technology analyst firm Canalys reporting a 11% year-on-year fall to 34.8 million units in the second quarter of 2022.
Global tablet shipments for the first quarter of 2022 fell by 3% year-on-year to 38.6 million units, the technology analyst firm Canalys says, adding that Chromebooks suffered a much bigger fall, dropping 60% to 4.9 million units.
Tech analyst firm Canalys has issued what on the surface appears to be a contradictory report about the global PC market on Monday, claiming that it fell by 2% year-on-year for the third quarter of 2021, after it released a report in October claiming a 5% rise.
