TPG gets going with its NBN plans

Plucky Aussie Internet provider TPG is taking NBN Co head on, announcing it has commenced a live trial of its fibre-to-the-basement technology, in a move that has drawn criticism from NBN head Ziggy Switkowski.

NBN Co's Ziggy warns of TPG

NBN Co chief Ziggy Switkowski has fired a warning shot at Internet provider TPG, telling a Senate committee that the national broadband network's finances could be "severely impacted" by competition from other fibre-to-the-basement Internet providers.
