Google may face another record EU fine: report

The EU is contemplating another record fine against Google over how it pays and limits mobile phone providers who use the search company's Android mobile operating system and app store.

Apple appeals EU tax bill, wants it withdrawn

Apple has filed a list of 14 objections with the European Court of Appeals, saying that the European Commission's decision to slap it with a €13 billion (A$19.73 billion) bill for back taxes is wrong, violates law and should be withdrawn.
