Icahn leaves Yahoo! board and takes a bath

Carl Icahn has quit from Yahoo!'s board of directors, and may have lost more than $US100 million on the company's shares. He became involved as a result of Microsoft's attempt to acquire Yahoo in 2008.

Levinson leaves Google board

Arthur Levinson has resigned from Google's board of directors. Although no reason was given in the company's announcement, it seems likely that a purported conflict of interest may be the cause.
