Macqauarie Government and Macquarie Data Centres are making an initial investment of $17 million to build the first stage of a new data centre, Intellicentre 5 (IC5), at its Canberra campus in response to what they say is rising demand for cloud and cyber security services.
Telecommunications and data centre provider Macquarie Telecom has announced the expansion of its existing Macquarie Park Intellicentre to a 43MW campus as part of its ongoing data centre consolidation and development.
