New Pokemon Black/White is no joke, mon

Although some wouldn't poke Pokemon with a ten-foot barge pole, mon, preferring Pacman instead, the Japanese game is still a big hit for Nintendo, with the company releasing two new Black and White Pokemon games.

Nintendo announces DSi XL Australian pricing

The DSi XL is the supersized hand-held gaming device from Nintendo.  Launching next month Nintendo are hoping to grab a whole new demographic under their influence.  Today Nintendo Australia announced the DSi XL pricing.

Nintendo has released a very brief pre E3 teaser announcement referring to a revamped version of the mega-selling DS hand-held gaming device.  The 3DS, a temporary name, jumps on the 3D vision band wagon, purporting to  give gamers on the move an experience in the 3rd dimension without the need for special goggles.

Nintendo: New Wii colour, DSi XL, Monster Hunter Tri

Nintendo started its world-wide press announcement day in Melbourne Australia.  The event gave us some hands on time with the new look Wii, coloured Wii remotes, DSi XL and some previews of Monster Hunter Tri, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver and a pre-announcement of  some big named software being shown tonight.

Nintendo scuttles Australian pirate

Nintendo has confirmed the result of legal action taken against an Australian who uploaded a copy of New Super Mario Bros Wii to the internet.  Nintendo is hoping to send shivers through the timbers of all software pirates.

Nintendo has teamed up with Myer to open a gaming area dedicated to Mario and his mates on Wii and DS.  The Nintendo Connection opens tomorrow at the main CBD Sydney retail outlet.  It is a chance for people to waggle before they wallet.

Wii Sports Resort opens for business

Expect a new wave of Nintendo dominance as even on a cold, wet, winters eve the crowds flocked to the Wii Sports Resort opening.   In related news, 100,000 Australians have made a DSi hand-held their own.
