The Information Technology Contract & Recruitment Association (ITCRA) has committed to further work with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) to ensure clarity for the IT recruitment industry on the newly released Australian Privacy Principles (APP) guidelines.
The Information Technology Contract & Recruitment Association (ITCRA) has put recruiters on notice that they need to be more aware than ever of their responsibilities in handling data, particularly personal information about clients, ahead of the introduction of changes to the Privacy Act which come into effect in March.
The Australian Technology Contract and Recruitment Association (ITCRA) Privacy Best Practice Program has been diversified in response to market demand to ensure not only ITCRA Members have their unique needs met, but that all recruiters, service suppliers and corporate clients of the industry can benefit from the audit process in preparation for the March introduction of the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012.
