Battery technologies developed in Australia will be sold globally in the next five years through a partnership between the CSIRO and Japanese specialist chemical manufacturer Piotrek.
Australian scientists including an optics and telecommunications expert have been awarded over a quarter of a million dollars to commercialise their research by the CSIRO’s ON technology accelerator program and the Menzies Foundation.
Researchers from CSIRO and the University of Adelaide have built a facility to track individual atoms of noble gases like Argon and Krypton and thereby understand the age, origin and inter-connectivity of groundwater and how it has moved underground through space and time.
