Apple has recalled up to one million 15-inch MacBook Pros sold between 2015 and 2017 due to the risk of defective batteries overheating and causing fires.
HP has extended its global battery recall initiated in June 2016 from 41,000 batteries to add 101,000 additional notebook batteries. The recall mainly affects the US and Canada.
If you bought a HP Compaq, HP ProBook, HP Envy, or HP Pavilion notebook between 1 March 2013 and 30 August 2015, then its battery may be subject to a recall.
