AIIA focuses on ICT impact on education

The Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) has set up a special interest group with the objective of driving the ICT industry’s engagagement with the educational sector and the impact technology is having on education in Australia.

The New South Wales Government's newly released ICT strategy has been welcomed by the Australian Information Industry Association but also brought a note of caution from the AIIA that the fundamental objectives of the strategy can only be achieved through working directly with the ICT industry to develop solutions and systems which are targeted, cost effective and efficient.
