Convenience meals manufacturer, Easymeals by Flavour Makers, has been hit with a $13,600 penalty for breaching the Do Not Call Register.
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) continues a crackdown on companies breaching the Do Not Call Register Act, with a financial services company – Premium Financial Services – hit with a $34,000 infringement notice after telemarketing calls were made in breach of the Act.
Online connectivity and access to the Internet is on the improve for all Australians, including those living in regional and remote areas outside our capital cities and urban areas. But, while regional residents are gradually closing the gap on their city counterparts,there’s still some way to go before regional Australia enjoys online access to match that of city dwellers.
