Telstra customers were not the only ones affected by the outage which hit New South Wales overnight and early this morning, with train commuters in parts of the state suffering delays to services due to the disruption.
The federal government has gone against Telstra recommendations that no limits be placed on the amount of spectrum that can be bought by any one operator, instead directing the media watchdog ACMA to set competition limits.
