Jack's customers hungry for WiFi, says Primus

Primus Telecom says that Hungry Jack's customers have shown a strong appetite for the free Wi-Fi hot spots it has installed in Hungry Jacks restaurants as part of a wider telecommunications contract awarded in January this year.

Aruba signals drive for ANZ marketshare growth

Wireless networks provider, Aruba Networks, has appointed a new head of its Australian and New Zealand business as the company looks to grow its marketshare in the region with a new focus on a what it says is a broader architectural approach to network access for enterprise mobility.

Aruba Networks has introduced it Mobile Virtual Enterprise (MOVE), technology designed to sit in an enterprise data centre or be hosted by a cloud provider and authenticate and manage all devices seeking access to the corporate network: from internal ethernet and WiFi networks, public WiFi hotspots, cellular networks, employees' homes etc.
