Communications provider Motorola Solutions has signed a new deal valued at approximately $100 million with the Victorian Government, extending its agreement to provide the government with a dedicated emergency data communications managed service for use by Ambulance Victoria.

The Motorola Solutions hackathon will be staged for the third year in Melbourne this month, with public safety organisations including Victoria Police, Victoria State Emergency Service, Ambulance Victoria and Crime Stoppers Tasmania collaborating with developer teams on real world challenges they face in their daily work.
