On early results, it seems that the new Australian Federal Parliament will have around 72 or 73 seats for each of the two major parties and the remaining 5 seats spread across independents and The Greens.  Where does this leave tech in Australia?

The ALP has been quick to dismiss the Parliamentary Library's attempt to identify sources of NBN funding as being 'full of serious errors," but it has failed to shed any light on sources of NBN funding, as the Library sought to do.

$5.6b NBN funding shortfall revealed - UPDATED

A Parliamentary Library publication has revealed a $5.6b shortfall between funds earmarked by the Labor Government for the first five years of NBN rollout (to June 2014) and the $22.4b expenditure recommendations of the implementation study.
