Australia’s telecoms industry association, the Telecommunications Society (TelSoc), has put its support behind the Federal Government’s creation of the Broadband Advisory Council which the government says is designed to ‘maximise’ the country’s economic upside and increase digital connectivity.
The Australian Government has established an Australian Broadband Advisory Council to provide it with advice on maximising the “economic upside” of increased digital connectivity for Australian businesses and consumers.
The Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association (AMTA) has set up its new 5G Group to "focus on policy, regulatory and technology issues related to next-gen 5G".
