Australia's biggest telco Telstra has claimed it's been able to hit mobile speeds of a whopping 450 megabits per second in a trial of LTE advanced (LTE-A) carrier aggregation, in partnership with Ericsson.

Telecom New Zealand has announced it will have 4G LTE live on in much of Auckland by October. It intends to extend coverage to Wellington and Christchurch by Christmas.
