Cloud management platform Stax has engaged Nextgen as a distributor in Australia and New Zealand.

Stax provides a secure, automated, and fully managed platform to deliver and operate workloads, applications, and services on AWS, allowing deployments in days rather than months.

The agreement means Nextgen will offer the Stax cloud management platform across its channel partners' ecosystem, as part of Nextgen's AWS offering for partners.

"We are delighted to be working with Nextgen and AWS to help accelerate ANZ partners with their cloud business", said Stax CEO and co-founder Thor Essman.

"By using AWS's unmatched portfolio of cloud services, we can help businesses make a strong start on their cloud journey. Stax for Partners allows solution providers, systems integrators, and MSPs to have a reliable, extendable base to use AWS to deliver customer outcomes."

Nextgen group CEO John Walters said "Most of our partners' customers are time poor and under growing pressure to develop and launch applications faster than ever before. By using Stax to automate these cloud processes and provide actionable insights across cost, risk, and compliance, they can focus on delivering real value for their businesses."

AWS ANZ head of channel and alliances Davinia Simon said "The distributor partnership agreement between Nextgen and Stax will allow partners to accelerate their AWS capabilities and deliver outcomes to customers quickly. We are happy to enable Stax and Nextgen to help companies move to the cloud, and create a future for businesses, characterised by adaptability, scalability, reliability, security, and speed."
