On kloud nine with Microsoft award recognition

Australian IT cloud services consultancy Kloud has been named as a finalist in the Microsoft Identity and Security (Access) Award alongside a global field of Microsoft partners.

The award is given for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions and recognises Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions during the past year.

Kloud was recognised for providing outstanding solutions and services in Identity and Access, with awards presented in multiple categories and winners chosen from more than 2,800 entrants from 117 different countries.

“This award is fantastic recognition for the whole Kloud team and our amazing customers who have entrusted us over the past three years with their Identity and Security management needs. We are thrilled to be recognised on the world stage for our work in this field,” said Nicki Bowers, Kloud Managing Director.

The Identity and Security Partner of the Year Award recognises a Microsoft partner that has delivered end-to-end security, identity, and access solutions, enabling customers to achieve their business goals while managing risk and helping to ensure that the right people have secure access to the information they need to get their jobs done.

Microsoft Corporate Vice President Worldwide Partner Group Phil Sorgen said this year’s award winners were among some of the “best and brightest our partner ecosystem has to offer, so it came as no surprise that Kloud was included in that group as this year’s finalist of the 2014 Microsoft Identity and Access award.”

“We congratulate Kloud on this amazing achievement and its continued dedication to providing innovative solutions that drive results for our mutual customers.”

Why are passive solutions considered inferior? And what makes active solutions great?

Read more about these two solutions, and how PacketLight fits into all this.
