Destination Melbourne for Cisco DevNet & ANZ developers

Developers and aspiring developers from across Australia and New Zealand are set to descend on Melbourne early in March to work with and learn from experts at DevNet, Cisco’s global developer training program.

Cisco has said the DevNet program to be staged in Melbourne is designed to provide ANZ developers with the tools to adopt the technologies, resources and code needed to build “innovative, network-enabled solutions for their customer’s environment”.

The program will expose developers to learning how to quickly and practically create new apps and solutions on Cisco technology platforms for a global market.

The DevNet program at Cisco Live will take place in Melbourne from 9 to 11 March, with Cisco tech experts, including network engineers and architects, providing attendees with a series of live hands-on training sessions and activities hosted by programming experts.

The sessions range from 101 to advanced and will be run across many platforms, including Security, IoT, ACI, SDN, OpenStack and Data.

A Cisco spokesperson said registration is open to all programmers and developers in ANZ and the pass to the event provides priority access to the DevNet zone for three days of Cisco Live as well as the World of Solutions, Cisco Live keynotes, Innovation Talks and Partner Case Studies.
