Dubber secures AT&T contract

By

Australian-listed call recording provider Dubber is partnering with US-based telco AT&T to provide its cloud call and communication capture solution for the AT&T collaboration service.

The agreement will see Dubber’s full range of call  recording, data capture and speech analytics services made available to AT&T Collaborate customers.

Dubber (ASX:DUB) says AT&T is the first telecommunications company delivering call recording via its the Connect solution.

Under the deal, the service is scheduled to go live within the current quarter.

AT&T Collaborate is a hosted voice service that integrates voice, video, Web and messaging. Launched in  2016, Collaborate provides a comprehensive Unified Communication solution for business, enterprise and government customers across the United States.

Dubber chief executive Steve McGovern said: “We are very proud to be working with AT&T to provide the cloud call recording solution for their Collaborate Unified Communication service. As one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, we believe this agreement signals a very significant milestone for Dubber and our cloud-based call recording platform.”

According to McGovern, Dubber’s  “unique Platform-as-a-Service” has been subject  to extensive performance testing demonstrating its ability to scale and that it can “support AT&T’s exacting call recording requirements well into the future”.

He said the agreement furthers Dubber’s ambition to provide a global backbone for recording.

“The company believes the AT&T agreement has the potential to bring a much broader base of customers on to the company’s platform. Prior to the service going live, Dubber is unable to provide any indication of the likely take-up.”
