Deloitte acquires Soda Strategic

Professional services firm Deloitte is acquiring Soda Strategic in order to strengthen the firm's Salesforce capability.

Soda Strategic was founded in 2016 in Canberra by CEO Angelo Paonne. It is a Salesforce partner, known for its innovative use of Salesforce Community Cloud.

The company has clients in the government, health, and not-for-profit sectors, and claims expertise in digital strategy and consulting, experience design, mobile and web development, integration and customisation services, marketing automation, and managed services.

Soda Strategic's 30 people will formally join the Deloitte Digital team on 1 May 2021. Most will be based in Canberra, with some in Melbourne.

Paonne will become a Deloitte Digital partner.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
