Vocus and Zoom launch cloud-based calling solution

Vocus launches Vocus Calling for Zoom Phone, a cloud-based calling solution for enterprise and government customers.

Vocus Calling for Zoom Phone enables enterprise and government organisations to:

• Easily port existing numbers or provision new ones
• Improve team and employee productivity by keeping collaboration activities in the same tool
• Maximise the Zoom Unified Communication suite by adding calling functionality

“We now offer customers Vocus Calling for Zoom Phone, and as we know from our first-hand experience how intuitive, reliable and easy to use it is,” lauds Vocus chief executive, enterprise, and government Andrew Wildblood.

“Based on the experience of the first customers we have welcomed on board, we’re already seeing it deliver tremendous value,” he says.

Zoom head of Australia and New Zealand Michael Chetner says the collaboration between Vocus and Zoom added strong network expertise and an end-to-end solution focus for customers.

“Vocus is an expert team and together, we look forward to Zoom Phone becoming a powerful addition to customers’ collaboration suite,” he says.

Vocus is one of Zoom’s first partners to resell its complete collaboration platform including Zoom Meetings, Zoom Phone, Zoom Webinars, and Zoom Rooms.

The past 18 months have seen an incredible rise in demand for unified communication and collaboration services as more businesses have embraced remote working, greater digitisation, and the use of cloud platforms and applications.

Since the launch of Zoom Phone in January 2019, Zoom has sold more than two million Zoom Phone seats around the world.

Zoom is also recognised in the Leaders Quadrant of the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide last October 2021.
