Australian cloud services provider Bulletproof has today announced a new partner program that will enable businesses to include Cloud services in their offerings.

Bulletproof said in a statement its new Partner Program allows Australian businesses to offer Cloud support services, including the company's Managed AWS service, to their customers.

Recent reports by analyst firm Telsyte have shown that the adoption of Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) by Australian businesses is skyrocketing, with twice as many businesses taking advantage of the opportunities afforded by the Cloud.

Similarly, the global demand and adoption of Cloud services has increased exponentially; with market analysts Gartner predicting that worldwide public cloud services market will reach $158 billion in 2014, up 19% from 2013. Although the opportunities and advantages of Cloud are evident, many organisations still struggle to implement effective Cloud-based product and service strategies.

A number of Australian companies including Isobar and Vivid Group, part of the Dentsu Aegis Network, and IE Agency have already joined the highest tier of Bulletproof's new Partner Program.

"Vivid Group has partnered with Bulletproof to provide high availability hosting solutions for our retail eCommerce clients," Vivid Group Managing Director Piers Hogarth-Scott said. "Bulletproof is the ideal partner for high volume, high transaction retail websites, given the relationship with AWS and the ability to scale both horizontally and vertically on demand.”

Isobar technical director, Phil Agius said the ability to offer Cloud support has enhanced Isobar’s global digital marketing business; “Bulletproof’s professional and quality service have help Isobar to support their clients with the highest level of service," he said.

IE Agency founder and Managing Partner, Rhys Hayes said, "There's no question that from the very outset, Bulletproof has set the standard for enterprise hosting solutions. We recommended them with confidence to Movember many years ago and recommend them with pride to all of our key accounts today. We do this for one simple reason - it works.”

Bulletproof's CCO Mark Randall said the Partner Program would allow Partners to extend their product and service offering to the Cloud - without the need to invest in new infrastructure, personnel, and processes.

“Bulletproof’s Partner Program has filled a serious gap in the market for accessing Cloud services. Organisations are eager to roll out new Cloud-based products and services to meet growing end-user demands; but many lack the internal expertise and resources to make it happen quickly. Increasingly, we are finding that organisations prefer to concentrate on their core service offering, whether that is design, consultancy, integration or development. The business challenge is that they need to pay attention to Cloud to stay competitive.”

“As one of only 22 AWS Premier Partners globally, we continue to validate our expertise and position in the market. We are passionate and excited to extend our world-class Bulletproof Support to help partners succeed in the Cloud.”

Bulletproof said the Partner Program has "numerous benefits" including access to certified business and technical Cloud and hosting experts, 24/7 proactive monitoring and management of Cloud services and 99.95% uptime as part of Bulletproof’s SLA.
