The company said in a statement that the solution would also ensure greater efficiency and better application performance.
The SD-WAN integrates security, network routing and WAN optimisation, meaning that one does not have to use multiple vendors for these functions.
The solution is fully manages and offers throughput from 100Mbps to 2Gbps, with optional 3G/4G failover and two-factor authentication.
Vocus Communications’ head of Products and Marketing, Charlotte Schraa, said Secure SD-WAN was an important step in helping simplify the way customers manage their networks.
“The rapid growth in things such as remote working, video, cloud and collaboration technologies and increased security demands can make managing business networks complex and place heavy demands on bandwidth, impacting network performance,” she said,
“Organisations are looking to take control of network and security policies and simplify how they do things in order to improve network efficiency and application performance.
“With the launch of Secure SD-WAN, we are excited to be introducing software-defined networking technologies to help customers build their intelligent networks with us and gain more control, flexibility and better performance."
