Dropbox-HelloSign integration released

By

HelloSign electronic signing is now available to all Dropbox users, along with the option of onshore storage of completed documents for some HelloSign users.

Dropbox acquired HelloSign in early 2019, and in the middle of that year began operating in the AWS Sydney region.

All Dropbox users can now electronically sign and share documents straight from Dropbox.

This is said to be the first integration of its kind. It allows users to send, sign, and store documents in one place and without leaving Dropbox. Signed copies are automatically saved back to Dropbox.

Subscribers on the HelloSign Enterprise Plus and HelloSign API Platinum plans get the option of storing those documents within Australia. This is similar to the way that Dropbox users on business (but not personal) plans are offered the same choice.

"With a mature and digitally savvy business landscape, Australia is a highly strategic market for HelloSign," said HelloSign COO Whitney Bouck.

"The current climate has seen demand for our eSignature solution soar, as businesses swiftly adapt to new ways of working and doing business. We are fortunate to be in a position to help our customers and we hope this investment will make it even easier for them to keep their businesses up and running."
