CMD Solutions earns AWS validation

CMD Solutions has achieved the AWS Service Delivery designation for AWS Lambda, a serverless compute service.

The AWS Service Delivery Program validates AWS partners that have a deep understanding of AWS services, demonstrated experience, and proven customer success in delivering these services to customers.

To qualify, partners must pass a validation process that includes assessing customer references and a technical review.

CMD Solutions, part of IT consultancy Mantel Group, worked with sister brand DigIO to deliver serverless projects to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER).

“Mantel Group (CMD/DigIO) demonstrated a shared commitment to purpose from the outset of the project. This cultural alignment combined with the depth of experience across all of their brands, led to the creation of something awesome that really showed off their skills. We are really proud of our new product and what we have been able to achieve through our partnership with Mantel Group (CMD/DigIO),” comments Energy Made Easy (a government energy price comparison service operated by AER) director Jonathon Milne.

As an AWS Lambda Partner, CMD Solutions says it can now help customers build services and applications without provisioning or managing servers. Partners with the AWS Service Delivery validation for AWS Lambda can provide developer tooling solutions.

“We’re seeing increasing adoption of serverless technologies ever since the launch of AWS Lambda in 2014. AWS Lambda has allowed developers to focus on their code without needing to worry about provisioning, managing, scaling or patching any servers,” comments AWS head of partner solution architecture APJ Matt Taylor.

“CMD Solutions have demonstrated their proficiency in this space by obtaining the AWS Service Delivery designation for AWS Lambda,” Taylor says.

“We want to stay ahead of the curve and deliver the best solutions for our clients. Achieving AWS Service Delivery designation for AWS Lambda in addition to our existing six AWS Competencies puts us in a great position to deliver the right solution for many businesses powered by AWS,” CMD Solutions co-CEO Andre Morgan says.

“Undertaking the AWS Service Delivery Program has been very important for our team’s development, providing great confidence in working with AWS Lambda and arming clients with serverless streaming apps, with zero administration,” concludes CMD Solutions co-CEO Adam Durbin.

CMD Solutions works with clients at all stages of their digital transformation journeys to help them leverage the solutions and products offered by AWS. CMD Solutions also works in close partnership with other brands across Mantel Group to provide end-to-end IT transformation solutions for any business need.
