IFS. It's the company with an impressive customer portfolio and which develops and delivers enterprise software for companies around the world who manufacture and distribute goods, build and maintain assets, and manage service-focused operations.

Back in early March, the company launched IFS Cloud, which it bills as "a single platform that innately connects all its products to deliver the end-to-end capabilities a company needs to orchestrate its customers, people and assets and deliver amazing Moments of Service."

Then in late March, IFS announced it had inked an agreement to acquire Axios Systems which "adds further depth to the company's capabilities with new ITSM and ITOM functionality that will help companies improve the design and automation of workflows, drive efficiency internally, and connect data across teams and systems to ultimately create opportunities to better serve its customers."

So, when the opportunity arose to speak with Stephen Keys, president of IFS APJ and ME&A, and chairman of the IFS Foundation, it was a great opportunity to learn more about the company, its founding, its journey and how it is working with top global and Australian companies to transform the way they deliver products and services around the world.

I started by introducing Stephen Keys, and welcoming him to the program. Stephen then explained IFS and the products and services it offers to companies around the globe.

Stephen spoke about the company's recent global brand refresh and what it represents, and then spoke about IFS Cloud, the pain points it is obliterating for its customers, the major new features and other developments.

We looked at why companies are choosing cloud solutions as well as hybrid implementations, and what the spark was that saw the founders join together to create IFS in the early 1980s.

Stephen spoke about the IFS Foundation and the company's CSR and sustainability efforts, the lessons learned from COVID, Stephen's own history in the world of tech, his first computer growing up, how IFS will evolve over the next couple of years through to 2030, great advice he has received in life, and his final message to iTWire viewers and readers, and IFS's current and future customer and partners.
