According to the company, Rubrik Security Cloud delivers three unique capabilities.
They are data resilience through immutable data protection with multi-factor authentication-based access control; data observability including ransomware monitoring and investigation powered by machine learning, sensitive data monitoring that identifies and classifies the most sensitive data, and threat monitoring and hunting; and data recovery ranging from one files to the organisation's entire data collection, including threat containment to quarantine malware and restrict user access to infected data.
Rubrik also launched its Data Security Command Center to help users assess whether their data is safe and capable of being recovered from a cyberattack. It also provides recommendations to make data more secure.

"Every company in the world is vulnerable as cybercriminals get more savvy every day," said Rubrik CEO and co-founder Bipul Sinha.
"With Rubrik Security Cloud, we are strengthening customers' defences so they can secure their business across enterprise, cloud, and SaaS workloads. Our data security platform enables our customers to defend their data, recover quickly and prevail in this new cyber landscape."
Rubrik's data observability capabilities are part of Sensitive Data Discovery for Microsoft 365, which discovers and classifies sensitive data within Microsoft 365 to better assess risk and help maintain compliance with regulations.
This is another result of the collaboration between Rubrik and Microsoft.
"Businesses need a data resiliency strategy to keep their data secure in the face of escalating cyber threats," said Microsoft Azure vice president Jurgen Willis.
"Rubrik's Security Cloud, which builds on integrations with Rubrik Cloud Vault and Microsoft Azure, will help customers accelerate their Zero Trust journey."
